How To Play
A few simple rules — then let your Groove-Dar guide the night.
The Setup
- Round up your crew at the trendiest restaurant, bar, café, or hangout in town.
- Each player opens Groove-Dar on their phone and gets a randomized 3×3 board of decor and vibe items.
- No login. No setup. No waiting on a slow friend to download an app.
The Play
- Look around. If you spot something on your board — a neon sign, a plant wall, exposed brick — tap that tile to mark it.
- You only get to mark what you see in this spot. No cheating from old memory.
- Fill all nine tiles to call “Groove-Dar!” and score the win.
Switching Spots
- Bouncing to the next bar? Tap New Location. Your marked tiles stay; everything unmarked is reshuffled with fresh items for the new venue.
- Want a clean slate? Tap Reshuffle to start over.
House Rules (Optional)
- Stakes: Loser buys the next round. Winner picks the next spot.
- Speed Round: First to a full row of three wins, not the full board.
- Vibe Veto: Other players must agree the item is really there. Decor disputes settle on the dance floor.
